Forwarded to me by a friend on facebook. It apparently went off at Roebling Road’s turn #9, which is a fast right-hand turn onto the front straight, at a NASA HPDE 2 track day. Hopefully the owner has track day insurance on it or else...who wants a V10 and a TR6060 for their LeMons project!?

Agreed, at least this Viper went down on track instead of being irresponsibly hooned and crashed on public roads.

A family friend had a beast of a viper with a full on areo kit and everything. He ended up hitting the gaurd rail really REALLY hard, the car was a complete wreck unfortunately but he was lucky to get out pretty much unharmed. Luckily he had really good insurance on the viper and he was able to get a Porcsche GT3 with it. The GT3 has been modified so heavily now that it is barely street legal anymore.

Not yet, but that depends on the owner being wise enough to get specific coverage for track day damages.
